The wait is finally over. It’s a date. This Saturday I am meeting the girls to explore 3.800 square meters of affordable fashion and home accessories, as H&M is opening the doors of its first flagship store in Thessaloniki, Greece.

There is no season better suited for H&M opening the store than spring, as I am always looking for fun, stylish, affordable accessories for quick home updates. Browsing H&M’s website, I think our apartment could use a bit of tropical turquoise as well as dusty pink hues peppered with oriental patterns,  rustic wooden and modern metal textures.

Η αναμονή έλαβε τέλος. It’s a date! Αυτό το Σάββατο συναντώ τα κορίτσια για να περιηγηθούμε σε 3.800 τ.μ. προσιτής μόδας και αξεσουάρ σπιτιού, καθώς η H&M ανοίγει τις πόρτες του πρώτου flagship store στην Ελλάδα, στη Θεσσαλονίκη μας!

Δεν υπάρχει πιο κατάλληλη εποχή από την άνοιξη για τo λανσάρισμα της συλλογής H&M Home, καθώς πάντα αυτή την περίοδο ψάχνω για  χαρούμενα, στιλάτα, οικονομικά αξεσουάρ, που ανανεώνουν το σπίτι μου. Ρίχνοντας μια ματιά στη ιστοσελίδα του καταστήματος, νομίζω ότι θα μπορούσαμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε στο διαμέρισμά μας τις αποχρώσεις του τροπικού turquoise και απαλού ροζ σε oriental μοτίβα, rustic  ξύλινες και μοντέρνες μεταλλικές υφές. Ανυπομονώ να τα δω όλα από κοντά!

Easter Preparations

Store shelves are brimming with chocolate eggs and cute little bunnies, as the countdown to Easter begins. Every celebration it’s an opportunity for me to decorate the house, to set the table and have a legitimate get-together with family and friends. So, I thought I would share a glimpse of my budget friendly, creative ideas that I plan on incorporating into this year’s Easter table. 

Hoping to be blessed with sunshine on Easter Sunday, my aim is to take the party outdoors, keeping the focus on the feast. Hence, I opt for a simple table setting  with a few DIY elements creating an inviting and relaxing ambience for my guests.

Τα ζαχαροπλαστεία έχουν γεμίσει με τα λαχταριστά σοκολατένια αβγά και χαριτωμένα κουνελάκια, καθώς η αντίστροφη μέτρηση για το Πάσχα έχει αρχίσει. Κάθε γιορτή είναι για εμένα μια ευκαιρία για στόλισμα του σπιτιού, χαριτωμένο στρώσιμο του τραπεζιού και συγκέντρωση με αγαπημένα πρόσωπα. Έτσι λοιπόν, σκέφτηκα να μοιραστώ μαζί σας μερικές οικονομικές, δημιουργικές ιδέες, τις οποίες θα συμπεριλάβω στο φετινό Πασχαλινό τραπέζι.

I love to embrace a budget approach to tablescape design. I reuse and repurpose and here I am with a fresh look.

  {It wouldn’t be Easter without the adorable chocolate bites as well as the fun of baking fat, chewy, chocolate chip cookies}  

{For a more playful, colourful look of my centrepiece, I have turned paper ice-cream cups into planters. Basil plants will bring invigorating springtime aroma to the Easter table}

Crop Tops

Ab Fab Spring Trend

The first, warm teases of Greek sunshine are enough to stir up my appetite for walks, cravings for the first ice cream, eating and drinking outside, to remind me that life is beautiful. This time of the year, that I am struggling to stay loyal to my weekly pilates workout regime, never has there been more attractive incentive than the short, stylish, girly, playful, skin-baring crop tops.

Bralets and bandeaus for great, toned abs with sexy shorts and skater shirts, short pullovers with long shirts for fashionable layering and crop t-shirts, boxy tops with high-waisted trousers, long skirts, skinny or boyfriend jeans for less revealing looks, but with a touch of mystery, crack the dress code on our spring wardrobes.

Dare to bare for that flirty peek-a-boo effect!

Οι ανοιξιάτικες, ηλιόλουστες μέρες δίνουν το σύνθημα για βόλτες, για το πρώτο παγωτό, για φαγητό και ποτό κάτω από τον ουρανό, μας υπενθυμίζουν ότι η ζωή είναι ωραία, μας αλλάζουν τη διάθεση. Αυτή την εποχή, που χρειάζομαι περισσότερο από ποτέ να δείξω πειθαρχία, επιμονή και προσπάθεια μέσα σε ένα pilates studio, δεν υπάρχει πιο ελκυστικό κίνητρο από τα κοντά, κομψά, κοριτσίστικα, αποκαλυπτικά crop tops, που με παιχνιδιάρικη διάθεση αφήνουν εκτεθειμένη λίγη κοιλίτσα.

Bralets και bandeaus για καλοσχηματισμένους κοιλιακούς συνδυασμένα με sexy shorts και skater skirts, κοντά ελαφριά pullovers συνδυασμένα με μακριά πουκάμισα και crop t-shirts, boxy tops συνδυασμένα με ψιλόμεσα παντελόνια, αέρινες μακριές φούστες, skinny ή boyfriend jeans για λιγότερο αποκαλυπτικές εμφανίσεις με μία δόση μυστηρίου, κάνουν φέτος την ανατροπή στην γκαρνταρόμπα μας.

Τολμήστε να φορέσετε τα crop tops, συνδυάζοντας τα με μοτίβα και κομμάτια που, αν και φαίνονται αταίριαστα, παντρεύονται ιδανικά.
